If the SKZI block is installed in the tachograph, it allows you to create an electronic signature and verify it. At the expense of the SKZI, data on the name of the manufacturer and the serial number of the tachograph itself are stored.
Selecting the type of tachograph
There are certain requirements according to which the tachograph must be digital. Each driver is required to have special chip cards for such a device. In order to read information from it, you will need a special company card. Usually, analog tachographs are originally installed on cars made eight years ago. But they can no longer provide reliable information. There are many methods to spoof sensitive data. Therefore, such tachographs are considered unreliable. By the way, repairing analog tachographs is prohibited. They should be replaced with digital ones.
Russian digital tachometers differ from analogue card ciphers. Expensive speed sensors are not used in them. Domestic tachographs can be connected not only to standard sensors, but also to the GLONASS system. In order to connect the tracking system to the device, you will need to insert a SIM card with prepaid internet there.
The use of different types of control devices is not recommended in the same company. This can lead to confusion in the readings.
The only drawback of a digital tachograph is that it cannot be repaired. In the event of a breakdown, you will definitely need to replace the device. But on the other hand, the accuracy of such a device pays for everything.
