Necessary

  • - Phillips screwdriver and slotted screwdriver;
  • - light bulbs.

Instructions

Step 1

Remove the decorative strip around the radio. It is installed using small mounts. To do this, use a slotted screwdriver. Pass it gently under the very bottom of the pad and detach it. As a result, the lower part will detach from you. To complete the action, pull the bottom of the cover slightly down and towards you. After that, the upper part will also detach. Then unplug the wire that points towards the cigarette lighter. The cover will be removed.

Step 2

Remove the decorative trim from the dashboard, which is made of plastic. Do it the same way. Under it, you will find two self-tapping screws above the right and left edges. They are designed to hold the dashboard (left side). You need to unscrew them. After that, lower the steering wheel of the car to the lowest possible position in order to be able to work without interference, and unscrew two more self-tapping screws that are located at the top of your lining. You will find them easily.

Step 3

After you unscrew the screws that hold the pad, begin to detach it with a gentle swinging motion. In addition to self-tapping screws, this pad is also held on special mounts, so you have to put in some effort. Then disconnect the wires from the clock, alarm, backlight adjustment, mirrors, fog light switch and other headlights. The pad will then completely detach.

Step 4

Remove the dashboard. To do this, unscrew the 4 self-tapping screws that hold it. To avoid damaging the wires, disconnect them on one side. Then unfold the dashboard and remove the bulb holders from it. Turn the cartridges counterclockwise and remove them from the dashboard. Then replace the bulbs and put back the whole structure.
