The next step is to pull out the handle, which serves to reset the daily mileage of the counter. Unscrew the nut securing this handle, remove this nut, and push the reset handle itself into the space that is behind the dashboard.

Step 4

Then, using a thin slotted screwdriver, pry off the cover of the self-tapping screw that secures the dashboard. It is located to the right of the vehicle's ventilation and heating control levers. Remove the plug carefully.

Remove the vacuum supply hose from the econometric fitting. Disconnect all colored harness pads.

Step 8

Now remove the entire vehicle dashboard.

Proceed with replacing the instrument panel illumination lamp. To do this, rotate the lamp holder ninety degrees so that its protrusion is completely aligned with the slot in the board. Remove the bulb holder. Press and rotate ninety degrees and remove the lamp from the socket.

Step 10

Further, if necessary, change the control lamps in the vehicle dashboard. To do this, rotate the lamp holder ninety degrees so that its protrusion completely coincides with the slot in the board, then remove the lamp holder along with the lamp. Replace the lamp together with the socket.
