It is necessary

  • - slotted screwdriver;
  • - light bulbs.

Instructions

Step 1

Remove the decorative strip around the radio. It is mounted on small mounts and you need a slotted screwdriver to remove them. Slide it gently under the bottom of the pad and try to detach it slightly. This will detach the lower part. Then pull the lower part of the lining slightly down and towards you, and you should now detach the upper part. Then you need to disconnect the wire that leads to the cigarette lighter. After these steps, the overlay will be removed.

Step 2

Remove the plastic trim from the dashboard. Carry out its removal on the same principle. Just below it, above the left and right edges, you will see two self-tapping screws that hold the dashboard in place. You will need to unscrew them. Then lower the steering wheel of the car as low as possible so that you can work without additional interference. Then again unscrew a couple more screws that are located in the upper part of the lining.

Step 3

Begin detaching the pad with a gentle swinging motion immediately after unscrewing the screws. In addition to self-tapping screws, the pad is also held by special fasteners, therefore, during its detachment, you will need to exert maximum effort and dexterity. Next, disconnect the wires from the alarm, clock, mirrors, fog light switch, backlight adjustment and other headlights. Only after these steps will you be able to completely detach the pad.

Step 4

Remove the dashboard with extreme care. First unscrew the four screws that hold it in place. In order not to damage the wires, they will need to be disconnected on one side. Next, unfold the dashboard and remove the cartridges from it, in which the burned out bulbs are located. In order to remove the cartridges from the dashboard, you will need to turn them clockwise. After removing them, replace the burnt out bulbs, and then reassemble the dashboard in the reverse order.
