Step 1
Prepare your vehicle first by jacking up the rear side and removing the wheels. Next, remove the brake drums, hubs, brake pads and the parking brake cable. Then disconnect the rubber brake hose from the hydraulic cylinder.
Step 2
After removing the old brake system, take the rear brake disc and place it in the seat of the rear hub. Next, press in the wheel studs and tighten the wheel nuts. Make sure that he finally sat down in the seat, otherwise troubles cannot be avoided.
Step 3
Once you're done with the disc, start installing the caliper. Instead of the drum shield, install it with a seat in the end of the beam. Then insert the axle shaft and bolt everything. When installing the caliper bracket, make sure that it does not touch the brake disc. Insert the brake pads into the caliper. If the opportunity arises, then purchase brake pads of the same brand as the brake discs. Each manufacturer, releasing discs, adjusts the pads to them, taking into account various parameters, for example, size.
Step 4
After the brake pads, connect a reinforced brake hose, which is then connected to a metal tube. Make the connection using a special bolt - union. Reinforced hoses have a great advantage over rubber ones, since the latter stretch, swell and can simply break through, which leads to brake fluid leakage. Finally, install the handbrake. After a complete redesign, adjust the rear brake pressure so that braking performance is not compromised.
