"Wipers" or wiper blades in a car should be changed when they do their job poorly without cleaning the glass well enough. To replace the wiper blades, you need to buy the wiper blades for your car model.
Instructions
Step 1
If you are not sure that the selected brushes will fit your car, before going to the store, measure the length of the "wipers" and the width of the seat of the wiper arm - not all models of brushes have the same dimensions.
Step 2
After measuring the length of the brushes and the width of the seat, select the appropriate wipers in the store. Keep in mind that classic wireframes are not expensive, but they won't last long either. It is better to buy frameless or combined models of brushes, the service life and quality of work of which justify their high cost.
Step 3
Returning to the car with new "wipers", remove the old and worn-out brushes. In most cases, this is done by pulling the wiper arm and pulling the wiper down. If the "wiper" does not lend itself, carefully examine the place of its connection with the leash - perhaps you will find a latch, opening which it will be possible to remove the brush. It happens that the brushes cannot be removed due to common rust. In this case, you need to treat the joints with WD-40 liquid or any equivalent.
Step 4
After removing the old brushes, follow the instructions on the packaging with the new wipers and carefully install the new brushes. If you are installing frame wiper blades with a metal body, treat the seat with a rust preventive agent so that the next change will not be unpleasant.
