But for those who decide to tune the engine, you need to know that it is quite simple to confine yourself to the banal installation of a turbine under the hood, which is mounted on the engine, will not work. In addition to the turbine, you will also need to purchase: a new piston group, injectors, a fuel pump and some of the "little things", for example, a once-through exhaust system.
Step 4
In order for the motor to be able to develop the desired power, one cannot do without a complete disassembly of the engine. During its reconstruction, the crankshaft and the piston group, as well as the camshaft and valves, are replaced. Which increases the compression ratio in the working cylinder. Right there, in the workshop, a turbine is also installed, for which there is no need to make changes to the configuration of the hood.
