Working in the garage can accidentally stain your clothes with machine oil. Stains of this nature are difficult to remove. Try to get rid of the dirt with the available products.
Necessary
Dishwashing detergent, car oil remover, ammonia, turpentine, white spirit, acetone, refined gasoline, margarine
Instructions
Step 1
Apply dishwashing detergent to the machine oil stain. It contains substances that effectively break down fat molecules and do not damage the material. Leave it on for 30 minutes and brush off the dirt. Wash clothing with stubborn stain powder and rinse. Only fresh stains can be removed with dishwashing liquid. Use more effective remedies to deal with the old.
Step 2
Buy a special lube cleaner from a car store or large supermarket. Before proceeding with processing, read the information on the packaging or consult with the seller. Spray on contaminated areas and wait 5 minutes. Wipe the stain with a damp cloth or foam sponge. This method is good for cleaning the car interior.
Step 3
Prepare a mixture of ammonia and turpentine, taken in a 1: 1 ratio. Apply the product to the stain with a cotton pad. Leave it on for a few hours. After this time, there will be no trace of contamination. If this does not happen, repeat the steps from the beginning. Then wash the material or wipe it with a foam sponge soaked in clean water.
Step 4
Use white spirit, refined gasoline, or acetone. Wipe the engine oil stain with a rag or cotton pad soaked in solvent. Wait a while. Wipe away the stain with dish soap or stain remover. Rinse the product under running water.
Step 5
Try to remove engine oil in the old folk way. To do this, take margarine, you can use the cheapest one, and apply it to the stained area with a thick layer. After 1 hour, rinse the stain with warm water and wash with laundry soap. Then wash with a highly active powder and rinse with plenty of water.
