The cylinder head on the VAZ 2110 is removed in order to repair it, replace the gasket, block and valve mechanisms of the piston group. The block head will have to be removed even when the engine is completely disassembled. For convenience, all work is best done on a viewing pit or a lift.
Necessary

Instructions
Step 1
First, drain all the coolant from the engine and remove the rear timing belt cover, as well as the cylinder head cover on the VAZ 2110 car.
Step 2
Disconnect the upper engine mount rod from the head bracket. Taking the socket wrench in your hands, unscrew the three nuts that secure the rod brackets and remove it from the studs. Then detach the catalytic manifold and the exhaust pipe.
Step 3
Unscrew the bolt by which the wire end is fixed, and then disconnect it from the block head. Now you will need to remove the battery negative lead wire from the stud. To do this, unscrew the tip securing nut.
Step 4
Disconnect the wires from all temperature sensors of the coolant used and the temperature gauge. This will prevent damage to the sensor connectors. If you are removing the head of the block assembly, that is, only to replace its gasket, additionally disconnect the wires from the camshaft position sensor.
Step 5
Now, using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts that secure the thermostat housing. And, removing it from the pins of the block head, take the body to the side. In this case, it is not necessary to disconnect it from the hoses.
Step 6
Carefully remove the gasket and, using a hex wrench, unscrew the ten bolts with which the head is attached to the cylinder block on the VAZ 2110. Now you can easily remove it. There are two guide bushings in the cylinder block. Before you start repairing the block head, you will need to remove them so as not to lose. Also remember to remove the cylinder head gasket.
