A turbine or turbocharger is a mechanism for supplying more air to the engine's cylinders using the energy generated by the exhaust gases. This is necessary for faster fuel combustion and an increase in vehicle power.

Instructions

Step 1

When starting the installation, inspect the turbine you purchased, pay special attention to the oil supply channel. If there are any items in it, remove them. Look into the pipes and also check for dirt, debris or any foreign objects. Think in advance about the supply of oil to the turbine, as this is the main condition for the stable operation of the turbine. The oil supply must be through steel pipes or reinforced hoses.

Step 2

On vehicles with an atmospheric engine, the intake of oil for powering the turbine should be carried out at the place of attachment of the oil pressure sensors using special tees of the splitters. Oil withdrawal from other points of the line leads to pressure loss and engine failure. When installing the oil supply line, do not use sealant based gaskets.

Step 3

When installing the turbine, you should fill it with oil; for this, position the mechanism so that the supply holes are straight up. Fill these holes to the brim with oil. Use a pump to build up pressure and drive the oil into the turbine cavity. The procedure should be repeated several times until the oil comes out of the drain hole.

Step 4

Change the engine oil as well as the oil and air filters. After installing the turbine in its original place, you can start the engine. To do this, remove the high-voltage wires and turn the engine with the starter, this is necessary to fill the line with oil.

Step 5

Make sure that oil is entering the turbine by loosening the supply connection. After making sure everything is in order, reinstall the high voltage wires and start the engine, it should idle for about 10 minutes. Warm up to operating temperature and let cool several times. Run in the turbine for the first thousand kilometers.
