Step 1
There are various designs of car door closers. The most common are electrical. They are installed in place of standard gas stops, although they look almost the same.
Each version of the closer is equipped with an automatic fuse. He will not let you close the door to the end, if suddenly your hand or a relatively large object gets into the opening.
Step 2
So far, the car closer is not included in the standard vehicle equipment package, but is offered as an additional option.
Step 3
"Closing" and "finishing" are controlled by two separate speed adjusting screws.
Set the “closing” speed and then the “fine-tuning” speed using the adjusting screws.
Make sure that there is no depressurization of the closer, do not unscrew the adjustment screws completely.
Step 4
Adjust the “closing” speed by turning the screw. Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to decrease the speed, turning counterclockwise to increase the speed.
Step 5
Adjust the “tweak” speed by turning the screw.
Turn the adjusting screw clockwise, this will decrease the speed, turning it counterclockwise will increase the speed.
