The presence of category A in the driver's license means that its owner is allowed to drive a motorcycle. The traffic police exam consists of two parts. The first is a computer test for knowledge of traffic rules. The second is a test of motorcycle driving skills at the circuit. Motorcyclists, unlike motorists, are not tested for urban driving skills.

Step 1
It is best to take a motorcycle training course at a driving school. If you can prepare for category B with the help of a private instructor, then there are practically no similar offers on the motorcycle training market. There are fewer choices and driving schools offering Category A training, and most are limited to a program for future car drivers.
Step 2
The conditions of the theoretical exam are standard: twenty questions, in which you need to choose one correct answer out of three options, 20 minutes to complete, no more than two errors.
In principle, you can prepare for this test yourself. As a rule, two weeks are sufficient, but provided that at least two hours are allocated daily for preparation. There are enough sites with the opportunity to practice passing the test, including those in category A.
Step 3
The practical part at the circuit is divided into three components. A candidate for motorcyclists demonstrates his motorcycle driving skills, demonstrating various exercises: "snake", "clearance corridor", "overall figure eight", "track board", etc. During the tasks, you need to demonstrate the ability to get under way, fit into turns, move in a circle, hold the motorcycle in a straight line, pick up and release speed, slow down, hold the motorcycle in an upright position without touching the asphalt with your foot. For errors during execution, from 1 to 5 penalty points are awarded, the maximum allowable number is not more than 4 for each exercise … If this condition is met, the exam is passed.
