True, if you try, you can unscrew this nut with a spanner wrench, only in time this action will last longer. And all for the reason that it is not possible to make more than a quarter of a turn with a spanner key. Yes, and a socket wrench with a cardan is not easy, since you only need to get to the nut from below. If you do not want to bother with removing the starter in the future, you can not tighten the lowest nut during assembly. Even on the top two, it adheres perfectly, just put washers.

Unscrew the top nuts using a box or open-end wrench. There is much more space at the top, so there is no need to use a gimbal and socket wrench. Do not lose the washers installed on the studs. When you unscrew the nuts, the starter will hang on the studs and rest against the leg. But it's too early to shoot.

Step 5

Disconnect the thin wire going to the solenoid relay. Then unscrew the nut that secures the red thick wire to the relay. Take the wires to the side, fix them so that they do not interfere. Now you can remove the starter, you need to carefully remove it from the seat so as not to damage the pipes and wires.
