A seat heater, which is not available on all car models, can be a good solution. But you can install it yourself.

Step 1
There are two types of seat heaters on sale: external and recessed. External heaters are fabric seat covers that are attached with elastic bands. The heater is powered from the cigarette lighter. Some models may have a temperature controller.
Step 2
There are two types of built-in seat heaters. Some are made in the form of a piece of fabric, which is removed under the standard seat cover. But such a design is unreliable, because the fabric can slip and if you push it, the heater either simply stops working, or even burns through the fabric of the seat.
Step 3
The most reliable heater is considered to be one consisting of plates of heat-resistant material. Self-adhesive plates are attached two down the seat and two under the back. Thus, they do not slide out and are difficult to break.
Step 4
To install the self-adhesive plates, it is necessary to dismantle the front seats. This is necessary to make it easier to remove the regular seat trim. And it is attached from the bottom with hooks.
Step 5
On the vacant surface, stick the plates, two down and two on the back of the seat. The distance between the plates must be uniform. Do not glue the plates close to the edge of the seat.
Step 6
Put on the standard covers and secure the seats.
Step 7
Route the wires from the heater from the bottom of the seat under the carpeted floor, in the sill or center console.
Step 8
Select the location of the heater on / off buttons. Cut a hole for them with a screwdriver or drill. Insert and secure the buttons.
Step 9
The buttons must be connected to the power supply. You have two wires that go from the heater. One of the wires must be connected to the car ground, the other to the ignition plus. In this case, the seat heater will turn on the ignition.
