Many motorists often lack roadside lighting or signaling lights when maneuvering on the road. If the design features of the car allow you to make modifications to the lighting equipment, then why not take advantage of this. You can significantly improve the performance of the taillights by specifying your dimensions for the vehicles driving behind.
Necessary
An additional set of headlights, a set of tools and skills for working with car electrical equipment
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to disassemble the floor from the torpedo to the trunk. As a rule, in most cases, the design of the car provides for the possibility of removing a narrow section for repairing electrical wiring.
Step 2
Then, from the side of the luggage compartment of your car, choose a place to mount your taillights. Prepare a place to install the taillights, drill holes for the wires. Mark everything neatly, check every movement. It will be much more difficult to redo it later.
Step 3
Now is the time to install the taillights. Connect the electrical wiring to the lighting system and to the headlights themselves. Lay the wire neatly under the floor in the central part of the passenger compartment.
Step 4
If you have installed additional rear lighting, consider the control of these headlights. You can bring individual control buttons to the torpedo, or you can connect the headlights to ready-made switches.
