Instructions

Step 1

High-quality body painting is carried out in five stages. First, a primary surface preparation is carried out, during which dirt is removed and the body is washed with special shampoos. Then the surface is degreased - bitumen stains and traces of lubricants are removed. At the third stage, the old paint and traces of corrosion are removed by abrasive grinding, after which an anti-corrosion coating is applied twice. The last stage is the application of enamel and varnish.

Step 2

As already mentioned, old paint is removed by sanding. For this, the most modern abrasive materials are used - aluminum dioxide and silicon carbide. To properly prepare the surface for the primer, use abrasive paper of five sizes. In this case, it is very important to observe a certain sequence of the paper used. The difference should not exceed 100 units, otherwise subsidence of the material may occur and later stripes may appear on the surface. In other cases, the removal of contaminants in the form of paint is carried out using special cleaners - washes, which are sold in abundance in specialized stores.

Step 3

A cleaner designed for cars, it is able to remove melamine alkyd, polyacrylate and nitrocellulose contaminants. The wash does not need to be diluted, does not have a corrosive effect on the body elements and adheres well to the treated surfaces. Apply auto-wash to the surface with a brush or spatula. In this case, shading can be omitted. Depending on the air temperature and the type of surface to be treated, the remover can be applied for a period of 5 to 120 minutes. For greater efficiency, the surface can be covered with plastic wrap. As a result of the action of the remover, the paint softens, swells and peels off, after which it can be easily removed with a spatula or metal brush.
