Tidying up and tidying up a car is sometimes even more difficult than cleaning a house. And although you can go to the nearest car wash and trust the professionals, it is cheaper to clean the car yourself. After all, the car owner is armed with all the most modern means for cleaning the interior.
Start with the details
Before cleaning the interior, be sure to vacuum it. This is necessary to prevent sand and fine accumulated dirt from scratching the seat upholstery and dashboard. Take out and shake out the rugs. Vacuum start on the floor and clean the seats last. Remove all dust from the dashboard and all plastic parts of the interior. This can be done in two ways.
Now on sale there are special napkins for the plastic elements of the car interior. They are great for express cleaning in the cabin and it is more convenient to wipe dust in hard-to-reach places with them. For a more thorough cleaning, use a special plastic polishing spray - BM COCKPIT IL-PIU, Kleen-Flo, Wurth, etc. Apply the agent to the torpedo and wipe with a dry cloth.
After a major cleaning of the interior, let it dry. Do not operate the car for 24 hours.
Painting on fabric
After you have cleaned the plastic parts, you can start cleaning the seat upholstery. There is one very important point here: cleaning agents are used based on what material the seats are covered with. If you have a fabric interior, use products with special markings. These can be products in the form of aerosols, foam cleaners, liquids - Atas, TurtleWax, Texol, etc. It is desirable that these products are intended for cleaning the fabric upholstery of the car.
Such products contain a high concentration of substances that, being distributed on the fabric, protect the color from fading. That, you see, is important when the car spends all day under the sun. Aerosol products should be applied evenly over the entire surface, and then gently rubbed with a dry cloth. Foam and liquid products are applied with a special brush and are ideal for removing stubborn dirt. After processing the surface with them, the remnants of the product must be washed off with a damp cloth.
Aerosols function as "anti-dust", i.e. using them is more practical than just wiping the plastic with a damp cloth.
Sensitive skin
If the seats are made of velor, pay attention to the products that are designed specifically for it. Usually velor upholstery attracts more dust than regular fabric. But brushing is not recommended. Therefore, most often a foam cleaner is used for velor - Autosol, Abro, Vortex, etc. Apply it over the entire surface of the seat, leave to soak for a while according to the instructions. Remove the remaining foam with a damp cloth.
Even more carefully it is necessary to clean the leather upholstery of the interior. Do not use abrasive products or hard brushes to clean it. For quick cleaning of stains, it is better to use special napkins (3Ton). If the stains are old, foam cleaner (Hi-Giar) or creams (LIQUI MOLY Racing) will do. All products from the upholstery must be removed with a dry cloth, or better with a special suede that will not scratch the skin.
