To stand out from the crowd, so that the car has only its own unique "face", many car owners tune their iron horses. And the changes do not always concern only the body. Also, innovations may affect the interior. And one of the favorite activities of car enthusiasts is interior upholstery.

Instructions
Step 1
According to experts, there are more than enough places for changes in the car. Up to 90% of the interior surfaces can be changed. Of course, the ideal option for your car would be to stretch the entire interior so that the whole composition looks organic. For example, you want to drag the interior with red leather. In addition to the seats, you can also handle the torpedo, and the side elements of the doors, and much more.
Step 2
So, for example, if you want to cover a torpedo, first remove it from its place. Then treat the surface: sand it and degrease it. To increase the adhesion between the original material and the new one, carefully sand the torpedo, and then proceed with the constriction.
Step 3
The material can be glued either with self-adhesive paper or with non-woven fabric. Make the necessary patterns from the auxiliary material, and then transfer them to the skin. Smooth them out slightly with an iron. Then cut out the necessary parts. Sew the resulting ones together so that the skin does not puff up or wrinkle. After the cover is ready, apply a special glue for working on leather to the wrong side of the material. And then carefully put the workpiece on the torpedo, smooth out all the irregularities. Now you can put it back in place. Just keep in mind that this process is quite laborious, because due to the acquisition of an extra layer of skin, the torpedo will be more difficult to pass through the necessary seams and holes.
Step 4
You need to pull the car seat in the same way as the torpedo. First, remove it and pull it out of the cabin. Then carefully measure and start making a pattern. Then sew the cover, sew the places that should serve as decor and you can put the cover on the seat. To fix the material on it, you must either steam it with an iron or use a steam generator. Drying up, the skin should shrink, which means that it tightly "hugs" the seat and will not slide in different directions.
Step 5
Everything is also done in the case of a constriction of door elements. Everything that needs to be restored is removed, measured, and a pattern is made. Then all the details are neatly sewn together and after that they are tried on and put on the object. Thus, you can quickly and accurately change the look of your car.
