Every driver of a vehicle must have an interest in ensuring that it is in good working order. After all, it is on him that the life of not only the driver depends, but also all road users, both drivers and pedestrians. What can the lack of a technical inspection coupon lead to?
So, if the driver ignores the passage of MOT, and does not have the corresponding coupon with him, then when he meets a traffic police officer, he loses his number plates or gets a ban on driving a vehicle. But there are situations when the law allows you to drive without a TO coupon. If, for example, a car has just been purchased, then when registering with the traffic police, the driver can drive for 30 days without a ticket. To pass the MOT, the driver must prepare documents (including a medical certificate), pay for the MOT procedure, and only after that he will be able to pass the checkup. If the TO is passed successfully, then the coveted coupon will be issued.
Documents required for the delivery of maintenance:
- identity document (passport),
- driver's license,
- a medical certificate of a strictly established form (valid for 3 years),
- vehicle registration certificate,
- documents for vehicle ownership,
- receipt of payment of the state fee,
- if there is an advertising image on the car, there must be a permitting agreement with the advertiser.
You can pass a technical inspection at the traffic police department at the place of registration or at any private technical center (since 2011). If the inspection takes place in another city, then it is necessary to put the vehicle on temporary registration at the place of residence. But nevertheless, it will be necessary to pick up the coupon in the traffic police where the vehicle is permanently registered. In addition, if the vehicle does not have any comments, then you can go through MOT by power of attorney. To do this, you must provide an ordinary handwritten power of attorney.
The technical inspection procedure, its cost, consists of the following data (fluctuates about 800 rubles):
1. State fee. It is the same for all regions of Russia and amounts to 300 rubles.
2. The cost of instrumental control, which is different in each region.
The absence of a maintenance coupon threatens the car owner with a fine of 500-800 rubles. If the technical inspection is passed, and the ticket is lost, then it is enough to get a duplicate of it, without re-passing.
