Any road user can get into a traffic accident. Often people get lost in such a situation and do not know what to do next. There are certain rules of conduct in the event of an accident, one of which is to call the traffic police (traffic police).
It is necessary
- - CTP policy;
- - mobile phone;
- - phonebook;
- - Internet access
Instructions
Step 1
According to the laws of the Russian Federation, any driver must have a CTP insurance policy with him. If you are not an exception to the rule, you have such a document. Find the phone number of the insurance company in it.
Step 2
If the answering machine answers you, select in the menu item the section corresponding to the call of the emergency attendant. Then report the severity of the incident, and do not forget to give the address. The duty officer will do all the necessary actions for you himself, since calling the traffic police is included in the duties of any operator of the insurance company. Try to calm down and wait. Upon arrival at the scene, an employee of the insurance company is required to represent your interests.
Step 3
If for any reason you cannot use the above advice, dial the rescue service number 112 or the police 020 from your cell phone. Ask the duty officer to connect you to the traffic police service and provide the coordinates of the accident. The maximum time allotted for waiting for an inspector should not exceed two hours, if there are no large traffic jams, as well as large-scale incidents.
Step 4
Call the district traffic police department if you have the appropriate phone number. Try to find the telephone number of the traffic police regiment responsible for this section of the road or serving a specific area. You can contact your local helpdesk. If you do not know the helpline number, try to get it from friends or family by calling them.
Step 5
If your phone has Internet access, you can find the phone number you are interested in yourself. Many drivers in their cars have telephone directories with traffic police contact information. Ask for it from people passing by, if you yourself do not have it.
