UAZ Patriot is an excellent choice for those who often travel outside the city or like extreme off-road driving. Such a car is a real off-road vehicle that is not afraid of any obstacles. The main thing is to choose and buy a car in the right configuration.

Step 1
It is better to buy a patriot new. Still, such a machine is often used in difficult conditions, and therefore, after a few years, it has a lot of technical problems. Moreover, modern models have several technical differences and are equipped with imported spare parts.
Step 2
Three versions of the vehicle configuration are presented in car dealerships: Classic, Comfort, Limited. The simplest configuration is Classic. The interior of such a car is made of fabric, there is a power steering, the steering wheel is adjustable in height in two positions, there is a central locking, audio preparation.
Step 3
Alloy wheels and velor interior, fog lights are added to the Comfort package. An electric sunroof is embedded in the roof, there are power windows for the front doors, heated mirrors, and roof rails. The Comfort lacks only the roof rails, sunroof and velor interior.
Step 4
Decide which engine you need. There are cars with a 2.3D Iveco F1A engine. Such an engine is more economical than a gasoline engine, but it also costs more. The gasoline engine is available in the ZMZ-409 version and has a volume of 2, 7 liters and 128 hp. Fuel consumption in this case averages 13.2 liters per 100 km.
Step 5
If standard configurations do not suit you, order almost any additional equipment from a car dealership. Let's say you want to install air conditioning, heated seats, navigation system, LPG equipment. Thus, you can complete the simplest version of the car with exactly what you need, and not with what is imposed by the automaker.
Step 6
Additionally, make the interior soundproofing. The car is quite tough, and therefore it is better to rid yourself of extraneous sounds in the cabin.
Step 7
If you plan to drive frequently off-road, install an electric winch with which you can independently pull the car out if you get stuck.
