The essence of this device is that it blocks the ignition system as soon as the engine starts without a key. Among the most common problems, one can single out a failure that occurs in the system, as well as incorrect operation of the device, which can and will cause the loss of the ability to start the engine.

  • - insulating tape;
  • - notebook;
  • - pack-loader programmer.

Instructions

Step 1

First you need to disconnect and then remove the engine control unit. Having resorted to using a curly screwdriver, unscrew the side console covers, both on the passenger side and on the driver's side. The controller mount is centered on 3 screws that you have to unscrew. Now disconnect the terminals. The next step is to remove the control unit, which then needs to be disassembled, having previously unscrewed 4 screws at the edges. Depending on which controller model you are dealing with, there may be a rivet on the back of the device that needs to be drilled out.

Step 2

Now get ready for the fact that you have to do some refinement of the control unit. The working process is that you have to re-solder the resistor chip. The unit must be connected to a computer using a pack-loader. Now read the eeprom and flash firmware. Remember to save it in any suitable directory. Fill the eeprom firmware back into the engine control unit, after which you need to disconnect the unit from the pack loader and solder the chip resistor in place.

Step 3

Disable the immobilizer unit so that your control unit is not blocked during the installation process. Remember, the immobilizer console is located at the level of the radio, in the panel. If you feel the block with your hand, try to disconnect the 20-pin connector. Then cut the ninth and eighteenth wires from the connector, and then connect them together. Using insulating tape, all connected wires must be properly insulated. Now you need to connect all the connectors to the control unit, and reinstall it itself. Screw the walls of the console centrally and you can safely start the engine!
