Step 1
First of all, you should find someone who wants to rent a garage. To do this, conduct an advertising campaign in the media and post ads in the area where the garage is located. The ad should indicate the size of the garage, the rental amount and the rental period, that is, you rent it out temporarily, permanently, etc.

After you have found someone who is ready to rent a garage from you, draw up a lease agreement and indicate in it all the conditions of rent, the amount of payment, the terms; indicate who will pay for the used electricity, lease terms, details of both parties and contact details.

The lease agreement must be drawn up in duplicate, signed by both parties and kept by each of the parties.

If you do not charge the rent in advance, then you must additionally indicate where, when and how the rent will be paid to you.

When your property is in the garage, you need to remove or close it, especially if you store something of value.

But, just renting out a garage and getting a rent for it is not all. According to the law of the Russian Federation, any income of a citizen must be subject to income tax. If you do not want to receive a huge fine and deal with the law, contact the tax office and submit a notice that you are renting out the garage and have a certain amount of rental income. Attach a copy of the rental agreement. You will be charged an income tax of 13% on the rental price of the garage.

Every year you will have to visit the tax authorities and fill out an income tax return.
