The owner of the car has the right to transfer his control for temporary use to his relatives, friends or acquaintances. Before handing over the keys and documents to the car, you must draw up a power of attorney.
It is necessary
- - PC with Internet access;
- - a printer or a blank sheet of paper and a ballpoint pen.
Instructions
Step 1
Visit the online service for generating a power of attorney to drive a car on the Autosphere portal. Fill in all the lines of the future document. Please indicate the make, model and registration plate of your car.
Step 2
Enter the VIN code of your vehicle and its engine number. Indicate body color, series and TCP number (vehicle passport). Fill in the information on the technical passport of the machine (series, number, date and place of issue). Write your full name and passport details.
Step 3
In the "Trustee" section, enter in the dative case the last name, first name and patronymic of the person to whom you trust the car. Set the validity period of the power of attorney, which should not exceed 3 years. Remember that on the territory of Russia, a document without specifying a time range is valid for 1 year. Outside the country, the legitimacy of the power of attorney is limited only by the decision of the car owner to cancel it.
Step 4
Write down in the document the powers granted to your representative, and the permission or prohibition to transfer them to third parties. If you want to restrict the use of your machine by unknown persons, add to the text "without the right of substitution."
Step 5
Be sure to indicate in the power of attorney the date it was drawn up. Otherwise, the permission will be invalid. Print the generated document on a printer or copy the text by hand on a blank sheet of paper. Sign it personally.
Step 6
Please note that a power of attorney in simple written form does not give the right to represent the interests of the car owner in relations with the authorities. If you need to issue a permit with the right to sell a vehicle or with the possibility of registering it, as well as for travel abroad by your attorney, certify the document with a notary.
