For any driver who is going on a trip or business trip outside the Russian Federation and planning to drive a car there, the question of obtaining an international driver's license often arises.
Instructions
Step 1
To obtain an international driving license, you must come to the traffic police, which issues international driving licenses, and provide a package of documents, including:
-statement;
-the passport;
- a document of registration at the place of residence;
- medical certificate;
-a document confirming the completion of training in a driving school;
-national driving license (this is the main document, since an international driving license is issued only with national rights);
-photograph 3 * 4;
-receipt for tuition fees at a driving school.
Step 2
You do not need to pass exams to obtain an international driver's license. Therefore, after providing the necessary documents to the traffic police, you will only need to wait a little, and then pick up the license.
Step 3
The validity period of the international license is 3 years, but not more than the validity period of the national driver's license.
Step 4
It is impossible to drive a vehicle, both in Russia and abroad, if there is an international VU without a national VU.
