The carburetor is part of the engine power system. In order to avoid serious consequences of improper installation of the carburetor, its installation should be carried out strictly following the order of work.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the hood and remove the old carburetor by first unscrewing the four nuts securing the intake manifold. Remove carbon deposits from the intake manifold flange, if present. After cleaning all edges, install a new gasket. Carefully, without sharp jolts or impacts, install the carburetor onto the studs. Make sure that it stands up without distortion.
Step 2
Tighten all nuts evenly diagonally. Connect the throttle cable to the throttle control lever, fix the cable sheath with a clamp. Check the full opening and closing of the damper, if necessary, make adjustments by reducing or increasing the cable tension.
Step 3
Connect the suction cable. Press in the choke control knob until it stops, fix the end of the cable so that the choke is completely closed. Attach the braid and check the opening of the damper. Pull the "suction" towards you and see if the damper is fully open, if not, make an adjustment.
Step 4
Put the fuel supply hose onto the inlet fitting and tighten it with a hose clamp. Also secure the fuel return hose. Using the fuel pump, pump fuel into the system and check for leaks. Also fix the hoses of the crankcase gases and the vacuum corrector in their places.
Step 5
Connect power to the solenoid valve. Replace fuel and air filter. Start the engine and let it run until the engine is at operating temperature. Make adjustments.
