The procedure for buying a used car is extremely simple. However, you need to clearly know the order of performing all actions in order not to fall into the hands of scammers. Be careful and make a purchase only in the presence of the car owner.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw up a sales contract. This can be done for free in the REO. But if you want to take into account all the nuances, for example, list possible defects in the car that you are aware of, the procedure for the sale, then you need to contact a notary. In the same place, draw up a receipt for the receipt of funds by the seller.
Step 2
The seller must remove the car from the register. After that, sign the agreement in the REO. Pay the state fee receipts.
Step 3
After that, the car will be inspected by an employee of the REO. The inspector will inspect the general condition of the car, write off the body, engine and registration numbers, and, if necessary, make special marks in the vehicle's passport.
Step 4
After the car has been inspected by an inspector, go to the vehicle registration department. You will be given more receipts to pay for the new registration numbers. After payment, hand over the stubs from the receipts, the purchase and sale agreement, the passport of the technical device, your passport, the technical inspection coupon to the inspector. This is required to register the vehicle in your name.
Step 5
Now you just have to insure the car in any way convenient for you. It is also necessary to undergo a technical inspection within 30 days after purchasing the car.
