We customize the interior door trim for a VAZ car with our own hands. You will spend about 1, 5 hours on one door.
Necessary
- - crosshead screwdriver
- - about 2 running meters of material
- - stapler and a pack of staples
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the inner door trim, having previously unscrewed all mounting bolts from it with a screwdriver.
Step 2
Cut out a suitable piece of material. You can use the old upholstery as a template, after carefully removing it from the panel. Cover with new material and staple the edges to the "old panel". In the places where the necessary holes are located: for fastening handles, speakers, ashtrays, etc. mark the places of future cuts.
Step 3
Cut the marked places for the holes and wrap them on the inner side of the panel, then fix all the resulting "petals" with a stapler.
Step 4
Install the column and ashtray in the old place, secure them. Next, screw the resulting panel back onto the door.
Step 5
Do the same with the rest of the doors in the same sequence. Now the interior is completely different.
