The news that rocked the entire metropolitan area concerns gasoline prices. In early autumn, the Moscow Oil Refinery announced the suspension of feedstock supplies to filling station operators throughout the metropolis. Moreover, the ban affected the most popular types of gasoline with a high octane number - Ai-92, 95 and 98. The representatives of the plant do not explain the reasons for this situation. However, the experts had a number of assumptions according to which the supplier simply decided to hold on to stocks and not waste raw materials on independent operators, relying on large companies.

As a result, there is a situation where operators are forced to buy fuel in neighboring regions. This immediately affected gasoline prices. The counters went up sharply, and today you can see the selling price for a liter of fuel 34-35 rubles. The operators themselves explain this by the fact that their costs have also increased. In addition to the fact that the Moscow Oil Refinery has stopped supplying fuel, it should close for scheduled repairs in the near future.

All these events also affected the exchange trading on the fuel market: prices per ton of fuel immediately rose. So, for example, a ton of the most popular 92nd gasoline according to stock market estimates is 33,700 rubles, and 95th - 38,500 rubles. When purchasing, independent operators of gas stations are forced to pay for a liter of 95th 30 rubles. 60 k. To this number must be added the cost of transporting fuel from neighboring regions, which is about 900 rubles. per ton and the cost of transshipment of fuel in the operator's tank - 400 rubles. As a result, the cost of a liter of gasoline rises immediately by 5 rubles.

Moscow refuellers understand that they will not be able to work at such prices, since customers will prefer network points of large companies that have their own fuel reserves and can afford to sell gasoline at prices within 30 rubles. In this regard, 35% of the capital's independent filling stations will simply be closed so as not to operate at a loss.

Experts predict that this problem will affect not only a third of small filling enterprises. As soon as MNPZ gets up for repairs, supplies to large holdings will also be reduced. Therefore, at the moment, the city authorities are facing the main task today - how to avoid the fuel crisis in Moscow.
