Examine the CASCO car insurance policy. In the upper part of it, a number must be registered, which is assigned by the insurance organization to each concluded contract at the time of its execution. Usually, the policy number consists of letters written in Latin or Cyrillic, which indicate the type of insurance, and Arabic numerals. The location of the number on the document may be different - left, center or right, it all depends on the insurance company. Most often, the number is printed on a printer or using a special numerator, less often it is entered by hand.
Step 2
Consider the payment documents according to which you paid for the services of the insurance company - it can be a receipt if you paid for the policy in cash, or an invoice if you paid by bank transfer. In the receipt you can find the number of the CASCO insurance policy in the line "Payment under the contract …". In the invoice that the company issued for the policy, pay attention to the section "Justification of payment", it will contain approximately the following "Payment of the insurance premium (first installment) under the vehicle insurance contract No. …".

Call the insurance company that issued your vehicle insurance policy, the phone number can be found on the official website. Ask a call center employee to put you in touch with a specialist in the auto insurance department. Explain that you are already a client of the insurance organization, otherwise you will be connected to the selling unit or agent. When you are connected with a specialist of the department, explain to him that you cannot find the CASCO policy or the number in it cannot be read. An employee of the insurance company will be able to find information about your contract by the name and surname of the insured (the one who insured the car) or by the vehicle number.
