It is not difficult to make plastic plugs for technical holes in the front doors of a car. They are a kind of protection from bad weather conditions. Of course, you can use the services of a car service, but you will spend a certain amount of money on this.
Necessary
Epoxy glue (in cans), fiberglass (up to about 4 square meters), a brush for applying epoxy resin, adhesive tape, gloves
Instructions
Step 1
Start the work of installing the plug by pasting the surface of the technical holes with tape. Warm up the epoxy, dilute according to the instructions, spread on tape and attach fiberglass. Cover the top with epoxy glue.
Step 2
This will become the first layer. It won't be enough. Wait for it to dry. Next, take the pre-purchased fiberglass (large), and glue it onto the part. To smooth the glued layer, use plastic wrap (or food grade), this will keep your hands clean, the fabric will not bubble when ironing, and the dried layer will eventually become smooth.
Step 3
Glue the next layer with finer fiberglass. It is better to make several layers for greater strength.
Step 4
After pasting the last layer, one day after drying, check for strength. If it is still not enough, reinforce it with nails. Take nails, cut off the caps, and screw to the part with wire, covering with two layers of fiberglass.
Step 5
Form the required shape with pieces of fibroplast, make a kind of paths for traction. Fasten the resulting plugs with M4 screws at least 20 mm long.
