Waste oil is refined in order to turn a substance that has recently become a waste into a cheap and high-quality fuel. Conditionally, the mining is cleaned in five stages.
Necessary
Waste oil filter, coagulating agents, vacuum fractional distillation device
Instructions
Step 1
Free the used oil from all kinds of dirt and various mechanical particles that got into it during use. This step should be performed using filtering. It will help prepare the oil for subsequent cleaning by freeing it of heavy particles and debris.
Step 2
Remove water from waste. The impact of high temperature on used oil is the first assistant at this stage. After all the moisture has evaporated from the substance to be purified, the flammability of the oil will increase. This is very important, especially if it will be used as fuel in the future. Also, the oil, freed from excess moisture, avoids corrosion of metals that will come into contact with it.
Step 3
Use coagulating agents to chemically clean up the used oil. Then dispose of the resulting sediment.
Step 4
Remove gasoline additives from waste. This step will make future fuels environmentally friendly.
Step 5
Purify the oil using fractional vacuum distillation. This effect allows you to remove unnecessary particles and impurities from the waste material, destroying the active parts of the additives, which may still remain in the oil, despite all the previous cleaning measures. Heating the mines in a vacuum also helps to clarify the mines, increasing its quality properties.
