Step 1
Supporting the car with a jack, start disassembling the car by removing the electrical equipment. The removed generator, dashboard, starter, electric motor, distributor, glass washer, lighting and signaling devices, wiper motor, wipe, and if necessary, blow it out with a compressor, rinse, and then put it on the racks.
Step 2
Now it is necessary to dismantle the body elements. To begin with, sequentially, using wrenches and screwdrivers, remove the hood, all doors, rear and front bumper, trunk lid, and then remove all seats from the car. If necessary, remove the rear and front windows. Next, dismantle the gearbox, not forgetting to first disconnect all the elements connecting the gearbox with the drive axles.
Step 3
Disconnect the cooling system radiator, fuel lines, heater radiator, cables and power system control levers, exhaust lines from the engine. Next, you need to remove the bolts that attach the engine to the body or frame (if it is load-bearing).
Step 4
Now remove the engine from the engine compartment. Disconnect the rear or front axle from the body or frame, having previously removed the suspension fasteners and shock absorbers. When the body is removed, it must be removed to the place where subsequent repairs will be carried out.
