In order not to get lost for the driver in the modern urban jungle, you can install the navigator in the car and be aware of your location. The navigator is a multifunctional thing and can serve not only as a conductor, but also as a monitor for watching DVD discs, and as a radio tape recorder.
It is necessary
- - car navigator;
- - a set of cables;
- - screwdriver.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy the navigator that suits your size best. It depends on where you plan to install it. If directly in the panel itself, then measure the exact parameters and order the navigator exactly according to the dimensions you need. If you are going to mount the device on a panel, then the size, in principle, does not matter. In this case, buy any that suits you in terms of price and quality.
Step 2
Unscrew and remove all parts from the panel that you need to replace. Usually, every car has a place for a navigator - above or below the radio. You can install the device instead.
Step 3
Connect several video inputs to the navigator so that in the future you can connect both a radio tape recorder and a rear-view camera, which will be triggered automatically when the reverse gear is turned on. Connect a USB extension cable so that any storage medium can be connected to the navigator. Make a separate button to turn on the radio monitor. And leave the native button to turn on the navigator itself.
Step 4
Buy a wire with a 2A fuse, if you don’t find it, solder it yourself. This is necessary in order to connect the navigator to the cigarette lighter power supply, but at the same time do not occupy the connector.
Step 5
Mount the navigator to the dashboard of your car. To do this, attach the metal frame fasteners from the frame. Then screw the base of the frame to this fastener. Stick double-sided tape on it along the contour, this will be the best option for securely fastening the navigator in the frame. Then attach the last bar, it will catch with the main part using the latches.
