Car acoustics are not only a useful addition, but also a means of self-expression. Therefore, the selection and installation of music in the car must be approached with due care.
It is necessary
Accumulator battery, car radio
Instructions
Step 1
Remember that the main power source is the battery. It will also be the main culprit in trouble if the positive wire from it gets to the "minus" of the car radio or any of the speaker terminals. Power the radio tape recorder from the battery or from the ignition switch. It is better to use a copper wire of a sufficiently large cross-section as the positive wire. Try to keep it as short as possible, just like the negative wire.
Step 2
Lay these wires away from other consumers and without using twists. Do not connect them directly to the radio, do it after connecting the speakers. The speaker terminals have positive and negative terminals, which differ in thickness: the narrow terminal is “-”, and the wide one is “+”. Remember that incorrect speaker phasing will result in loss of sound quality and damage to your devices.
Step 3
Make sure that small chips do not get inside the speakers when they are installed in abnormal locations, such as doors or a rear shelf. To avoid damage to the instrument, thoroughly wipe the seats before installing. When purchasing oval speakers, position them so that the short axis is diagonally across the passenger compartment.
Step 4
Check the connecting wires that come with the speaker. If their cross section is approximately 0.25-0.5 square millimeters, then think about replacing such wiring. Indeed, for high-quality sounding of speakers with a power of more than 40 W, it is necessary to use wires with a cross-section of more than 1 square millimeter.
Step 5
Remember that the joints should not have a lot of twists. Try to lay all the wires neatly through the cabin. Before the final installation of the acoustic equipment, make a test switch-on and check its operation.
