Step 1

But is it worth paying for the purchase of an expensive sound (similar to the operation of a sports car engine) in order to create the illusion of the presence of a “fancy car” next to them, which, apart from “roar”, is not capable of anything else?

The same craftsmen who have nowhere to spend their own energy, and who want to make direct flow in their car at all costs, need to take into account some features of the direct-flow exhaust system during the conversion.

A bit of theory. The purpose of any exhaust gas system is primarily to reduce engine noise. The car system under consideration consists of: an exhaust manifold, intake pipes, a resonator (a chamber with a perforated pipe) and a muffler with many baffles and perforated pipes inside.

Step 4

The sound of a running engine depends on: the size of the straight-through muffler, the quantity and quality of the sound-proof muffler that can withstand high temperatures, the material, the number and diameter of the holes in the inner pipe.
