Buying a car due to the inexperience of the buyer can cause many problems later - and the joy will turn into a headache. In order not to become a victim of deception and to be confident in the future of your car, you need to know a few tricks that will help you bypass the pitfalls in the market and buy a quality car.
Instructions
Step 1
The safest way is to buy a car from an authorized dealer. First, decide which company you want to purchase the product from. It is best to look for a dealer on the Internet: here you can go to the official website, choose the right car, focusing on the prices presented, read reviews and comments. If there are no reviews on the site itself, type the name of the company in the search and in the responses displayed you will definitely find a site with reviews.
Step 2
Call the car dealership and make sure the car you have selected is in stock. Also inquire about whether there are any promotions at the moment, how you can order the goods and pay for them. If the manager's answers are to your liking, go to the car dealership.
Step 3
Ask about the opportunity to test drive the car you like. Especially if you are choosing a car for the first time and do not quite know what exactly you need. During testing, you will understand whether the salon is convenient for you, and how all kinds of transport elements work. If you are still refused a test drive, sit in the salon, turn the steering wheel, press the pedals. In about half an hour, you will know if the car is right for you or not. During this time, in order not to get bored and spend these 30 minutes with benefit, read the instruction manual.
Step 4
Be prepared for the fact that after making sure by phone that there is a car in the showroom and arriving at it, you will not find the desired option. You may be advised that the model has just been purchased and offered an alternative. This option will undoubtedly have an advantage in functionality and cost. Try not to succumb to the desire to follow the lead of the seller, but carefully examine the proposed car. Perhaps you do not need additional options at all, which means there is no need to overpay for them.
Step 5
When you are finally provided with the desired car and the time comes to conclude a deal, be sure to check the warranty card, certificates, documents for the car. The car dealership is obliged to provide you with a vehicle passport (PTS) with the registration date, year of manufacture of the car and identification number.
Step 6
After completing the purchase of a car, you should have in your hands a sales contract, a certificate-invoice (containing the date, place and conditions of the transaction, a description of the transport), a warranty card, an operating manual and a service book with a mark of passing the technical inspection before the sale.
