Many car owners have encountered this problem - you turn the key in the ignition lock, you hear the engine's attempts, but it immediately stalls. Why does the engine stall at idle speed?
In most cases, the cause lies in the idle valve. Open it, after removing the filter, and carefully look at the condition of the jet. It must be clean. You can even blow it out: if the air passes, then everything is in order.
If the problem persists, then most likely the reason lies in small debris. To get rid of it, just start the engine without a valve. By unscrewing the valve and starting the engine, you will purge the system from debris. Then screw the valve back and try to start the engine again.
However, it may also happen that after the valve has been purged, the engine still stalls at idle. In this case, remove the wire from the valve and check: is there any voltage at all? This is easy to do: strike the valve several times with a wire. If there is a spark, then there is also tension. There was only one option left - the destruction (followed by replacement) of the internal valve.
Unscrew the idle valve, remove the jet and find a small tube. Try to take it out, and if it doesn't work, just break it off. Now the car will start for sure.
Of course, the last option does not completely solve the problem: a broken valve will have to be replaced. And do not delay with this: the engine does not like when it is not watched.
