At the Moscow International Motor Show, which began its work on August 29, AvtoVAZ presented its new concept car Lada XRAY. Well-known designers took part in the development of the novelty, many visitors to the exhibition showed interest in it.
The appearance of the concept car presented by the largest domestic automaker was developed by the famous designer Steve Mattin, who has been working in a Russian company since 2011. The car is a three-door SUV and looks more than worthy against the background of new products from foreign manufacturers. Its design is characterized by the letter X formed by the headlights, radiator grille and bumper. AvtoVAZ officials say the decision will become a feature of the company's new vehicles.
The crossover presented at the exhibition will not go into production, but a new serial SUV will be released on its basis. The price of a new car will be close to a million rubles. The manufacturer has not yet provided any data on the technical characteristics of the concept car.
