Step 1
Before buying a car seat, be sure to check if it is technically possible to connect the seat to your car. The seat must be chosen in the presence of the child. Step 2
Check the complete set of the car seat and assemble it according to the instructions. Remove the covers from the seat and armrests.
Step 3
In the passenger seat of the car, fasten the car seat with seat belts and put the child in it. In car children up to 1 year old, you need to carry in the direction of the vehicle. With this arrangement, the child can more easily endure a frontal impact.
Step 4
Adjust the inclination of the seat: for children under one year old, it should be about 45 °. Set the height of the headrest, adjust the shoulder supports and make other adjustments to the car seat according to the instructions.
Step 5
Check that the car seat is installed correctly. Pull on the shoulder strap - the seat belts must be taut. Make sure the straps are not twisted. The seat must be securely fixed to the seat of the car and be able to shift with a little effort by no more than 3 cm.
