The intersection is considered to be a place of traffic change; there are road users who have priority when passing through it. Your task, relying on traffic rules, is to be able to drive through intersections correctly, observing the sequence and not creating obstacles.
Instructions
Step 1
Regulated intersection.
When approaching an intersection, you should pay attention to priority signs, traffic signals or traffic signals. If you have a sign "main road" and you want to go straight, then you must make the movement without stopping. If you want to turn right, then you must let pedestrians pass and then turn. When making a left turn, let the oncoming traffic flow and turn, let pedestrians pass. At the same time, you should not interfere with passing vehicles.
With a green traffic light without additional sections, you must pass the intersection in the same way. If the traffic light has additional sections, wait for your light to come on. If you turn right under the arrow, there may be flow on the left towards the main green signal. When passing, you must give way to them. If after the turn there is a stop line and a traffic light, then focus on it. If it is red, stop.
Step 2
Unregulated intersection.
When driving through an unregulated intersection, use the “right hand” rule - this means that you need to let those on your right pass. In a situation when you need to drive straight or to the left, you must let those who are on the cross road to the right, when turning - skip the oncoming flow. If you want to turn right, make sure you are allowed to pass.
Step 3
If the exit to the intersection is occupied by cars, there is a traffic jam, you do not need to try to get on it. After the red lights up for cars from the cross road, you will become an obstacle for them to pass.
Step 4
If the traffic signal is the same for cars and trams, then the tram takes precedence when driving. When crossing tram lines, always give way to the tram.
Step 5
If you do not know which road you are on, you should always assume that you are on a secondary road.
