The crossing of the road is governed by several priorities. If the intersection is equipped with a traffic light - it is necessary to take into account its signal, and if there is no such - other rules come into force, then you need to navigate by road signs. If they are not provided for, the rule "interference from the right" applies.

Instructions

Step 1

Traffic lights are usually installed at the crossroads of large roads - it is their signal that regulates traffic. When you approach an intersection, take the right side of the road in advance if you plan to turn right, or the left side if you want to continue straight or left. In cases where the road is multi-lane, signs will tell you in advance which lane to choose. If you notice a red traffic light, you should stop in front of the stop line. The yellow light of the traffic light tells you that you need to get ready to start driving, and when the light is green, you can cross the intersection.

Step 2

If you have a green traffic light, you are planning to turn left, but there is an oncoming traffic flow, you must let them pass. If you have already entered the intersection, continue the maneuver with a clear road, even if the yellow traffic light is already on.

Step 3

In cases when you turn to the right, nothing interferes with your movement, and you move in the chosen direction. When driving straight ahead, you may have an obstacle in the form of a car from the oncoming traffic, which decided to turn, but in this case, the priority is on your side - continue driving, making sure that you are allowed to pass.

Step 4

When traffic lights are not working or in their absence, you need to navigate by the signs. A yellow diamond with a white edge indicates that you have a main road and can continue driving. Be careful, under this sign there is an image with a clarification of the direction of the main road, which is highlighted in a bold strip, and it is not always straight, the secondary road is drawn with a thin line. If you cross the intersection in the direction of the main road - there is no need to let other cars pass, continue your route. In cases where the main road goes to the right, and you intend to turn left, be sure to skip all traffic moving along the main road, which is located on your right side.

Step 5

When approaching an intersection and seeing a "give way" sign (white triangle with a red border), you must skip all traffic that crosses your path. If the trajectory of other traffic at the intersection does not intersect with your route, you can continue to move, for example - you are driving on a secondary road and turn right, and the oncoming car turns left from you.

Step 6

At the crossroads of rural or courtyard roads that are not equipped with traffic lights and signs, you act in accordance with the rule of "interference from the right", ie skip all the cars moving to your right. If at such an intersection you need to turn left, be sure to skip those cars that are moving towards you now, because when turning, they will also be on your right.
