The deflector is a plastic accessory, the installation place of which is the car hood, side windows. It is designed to protect windows and wipers from the flow of oncoming air, dirt and other harmful substances. The deflector creates an upward flow of air, which creates natural circulation inside the car and protects against mechanical damage. Thanks to the universal brackets, the deflectors are easy to operate and install.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to install the deflectors that are glued to the windows, ask someone to attach them to the side windows. Sit in the car yourself and look in the mirrors. If the deflectors are correctly applied at a certain angle, they will not interfere with the view.
Step 2
Degrease the surfaces of door frames and glass, having previously cleaned them from grease and dirt. Do this with the special napkins that come with the deflectors.
Step 3
Carefully tear off the protective film and glue the deflector, and if something does not suit you, then fix it immediately, and then press firmly, holding it for a while. You will spend about 10 minutes for the whole process.
Step 4
To install a plug-in deflector, insert it into the groove under the door frame. Sometimes it is necessary to slightly bend the installed deflector to the shape of the car. Pay attention to the edges of the visor, because sharp corners can ruin the windows.
Step 5
To install the deflector on the hood, open the latter and remove the protective film from the visor. Loosen the bolts in the deflector mounts with a screwdriver, and install it so that the edge of the hood goes into the bend of the bracket.
Step 6
Tighten the screws on one end only, then tighten the deflector until the rubber bands are in contact with the hood and tighten the remaining bolts. After installation, close the hood and enjoy your work.
