It is not difficult to do this, it is enough to pour water over the walls and the floor in order to nail down the dust, which should not settle on the parts of the car intended for painting. Then you should prepare the surface of the car body, which requires painting. This should be approached with the utmost care and extremely conscientiousness, since, having made the slightest mistake in preparing the work surface, all the work can be ruined. Preparation for painting is conventionally divided into three stages.

  1. First stage. Treatment of the selected area for painting by sanding the surface. First, the body should be cleaned with coarse sandpaper or appropriate equipment to remove the old paint and primer layer. After removing the old layers, it is necessary to treat the surface with fine-grained emery paper for better cleaning of the body from the remnants of old paint.

  2. Second phase. Having freed the places you will have to work on from the old paint, treat them with a degreasing agent. At the same time, it is allowed to use substances containing alcohol, but if the surface has any irregularities and imperfections of small depth, then a layer of putty must be applied to them, which must then be allowed to dry, and then sanded. The procedure should be repeated, finding the remaining irregularities, until the surface is completely leveled. The dried, leveled and prepared surface remains to be treated with a primer.
  3. Stage three. The surface to be prepared, treated with a putty, sanded and dried, must be thoroughly degreased, after which a layer of primer can be applied. A primer is necessary to ensure the best paint adherence to the surface to be painted. After priming, a test layer of paint is applied to the surface - a developer. Its purpose is to reveal the pits and peaks of the part to be painted.

If irregularities are found, then in order to prepare the car for painting, the above procedures should be repeated.
