Tweeters are an important part of a car's sound system. Nowadays, they have gained a lot of popularity. It is recommended to place such devices in plastic car racks.
Instructions
Step 1
Tweeters can be installed in different ways. For example, they can be placed on a panel or podiums can be made for them. They are usually directed towards the driver and passenger. You can choose the direction yourself.
Step 2
If you decide to install "tweeters" in plastic stands, you must first remove them. Then make a hole in the plastic guide with the diameter of the tweeter. The tweeter should fit snugly in this hole. For this purpose, over-tighten the attachment points with material. It is recommended to use a carpet in this case. With this material, you can also drag the tweeter itself.
Step 3
Insert the buzzer firmly from the back into the rack. It will hold due to the conical shape, so there is no need to come up with other various mounts.
Step 4
You can make your own tweeter podiums. As a result, the "buzzer" will be directed to the car interior. There are several manufacturing methods. If you don't want to mess around with putty and other similar materials, then make podiums out of wood. First, cut a piece of wood in the shape of a catwalk facing the salon. Be sure to sand the material with sandpaper. Glue this piece to the rack. After that, you can drag the entire structure with the material. Attach the tweeter to the resulting podium. The whole work takes no more than an hour.
Step 5
Directional podiums are often made with polyurethane foam. First you need to prepare a stand. A tee pipe is well suited for this purpose. Cut off the edges from it and glue the entire structure onto the rack. Apply polyurethane foam and wait for it to dry.
Step 6
Use a fiberglass filler to give it a smooth and even shape. Apply the compound to the surface. It needs to dry. Then sand the surface with sandpaper. Prepare the finishing putty. It should have the thickness of sour cream. Apply it to the product. After drying, sand the surface well. It remains only to drag the racks with material.
