Always remove the ignition key when leaving the car. If possible, use paid parking. Do not lose vigilance during forced stops, minor repairs or wheel changes. Always carry with you the recorded numbers of the car, technical passport, make photocopies of important pages.
Step 4
Put an old mobile phone with an active SIM card in some inconspicuous place. In the event of a theft, the vehicle can be easily found by a telephone signal. Place a mechanical lock for the gearbox and steering column.
Step 5
If you bought a used vehicle, be sure to change all locks and anti-theft devices, if installed. Don't forget to insure your vehicle against theft. This will allow you to make up for the loss. Purchase insurance from a reliable and trusted company. Remember, "the miser pays twice."
