Necessary

  • - latex gloves
  • - fiberglass
  • - epoxy resin with hardener
  • - food film (which sticks)
  • - car putty and rubber spatula
  • - sandpaper is rough and very fine
  • - car primer
  • - a pair of sandbags
  • - double-sided tape or silicone glue
  • - spray paint
  • - black marker
  • - grinder, scissors

Instructions

Step 1

Cover the entire headlight with cling film so that it fits snugly against its surface.

Step 2

Cut 4 strips out of fiberglass. Dilute resin with hardener. Apply layer by layer of glass cloth, resin, etc. Push the glass cloth so that it is completely saturated with resin. Cover four layers with another piece of cling film. Thoroughly smooth future cilia through it, after closing the hood. Place the sandbags on the headlights, pressing the eyelashes. Wait at least 12 hours for the workpiece to dry.

Step 3

Open the hood, remove the top film, remove the blank from the headlight, the second film. Close the hood and attach the workpiece to the headlamp. Estimate what the lower contour of the eyelash will be and outline it with a marker.

Step 4

Remove the workpiece and use a grinder to cut along the desired contour. Sand with coarse sandpaper. Apply a layer of putty with a rubber trowel and let dry.

Step 5

Sand first with coarse, then fine sandpaper. Prime the resulting part.

Step 6

Paint the eyelash with spray paint in the color you want. You can put 3-5 coats of paint. Wait for the paint to dry. Attach the eyelash to the headlamp using double-sided tape or silicone glue. Eyelashes for the headlights are ready!
