Do you feel that the car is difficult to drive? Has the car become "loose"? Do you think that the reason is in the steering tips? Conduct express diagnostics. Ask someone to help you and put this person behind the wheel, while you yourself get under the car and grasp the junction of the rack arm with the steering tip with your hand. Tell your assistant to jerk the steering wheel in different directions. Do you feel the backlash? If so, change tips immediately.

Instructions
Step 1
Park the vehicle on a firm, level surface and place chocks under the rear wheels of the vehicle. Using a standard wheel wrench or a “17” head, loosen the bolts of the front wheel to be removed. Jack up the car, remove the bolts and remove the wheel. Take a pre-prepared stand (preferably factory made) and fix the machine on it.
Step 2
Unscrew the handlebar in the opposite direction to the tip to be replaced. Use pliers to unbend and remove the cotter pin securing the ball stud nut. Using a spanner wrench “19”, loosen the nut of the ball pin of the steering tip.
Step 3
Take a special puller and use it to pull the ball pin out of the connection. If no puller is available, insert a mounting paddle between the strut pivot arm and the steering tip, squeeze the tip away from the lever, and, hitting the end of the swing arm, pull out the ball pin. Now completely unscrew the ball stud nut and slide the ball stud out of the hole.
Step 4
Using a spanner wrench or a “13” head, loosen the tightening bolt of the terminal connection of the steering tip and use a slotted screwdriver to loosen the groove of the terminal connection of the tip.
Step 5
Mark the position of the steering tip relative to the steering link with a marker. This will help you maintain the wheel toe angle when installing a new steering tip.
Step 6
Holding the adjusting rod with a wrench on "22" for the hexagon, unscrew the steering tip by turning it clockwise and remove it. Install the steering end by performing the steps above in reverse order.
Step 7
Replace the second steering tip in the same way.
