Necessary

  • - new bulbs;
  • - screwdriver.

Instructions

Step 1

Replacing the low beam bulb Switch off the ignition. Open the Ford hood. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Unscrew the screw securing the headlight with a screwdriver. Press down on the two latches located behind the headlight and holding it in place. Remove the headlamp. Remove the protective rubber plug that protects the headlight from dirt and moisture. The cover is located opposite the low beam lamp. Squeeze lightly and pull out the chuck. Remove the old bulb from the socket. Take out a new lamp. It should be noted that it is necessary to take it by the base without touching the glass, otherwise the light bulb may burn out immediately upon switching on. If there are greasy stains on it, you must thoroughly wipe it with alcohol. Insert the new lamp into the reflector and secure. Put on the rubber plug and replace the headlight. Fix it. Switch on the ignition and dipped beam and check the operation.

Step 2

Replacing the interior lighting bulb Disconnect the negative battery cable. Using a screwdriver, gently pry up the interior courtesy light and remove it. Fold back the spring contact and take out the old lamp. Insert a new light bulb into the Ford Focus interior. Reinstall the interior lighting.

Step 3

Replacing a Side Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the wheel splash guard carefully. Place your hand between the fender and the wheel arch liner. Squeeze the clips holding the lantern and remove it from the special hole in the fender of the car. Remove the bulb holder from the lantern. To do this, turn the chuck counterclockwise. Remove the old lamp from the socket. Install a new lamp in the socket. Insert the cartridge into the pointer body. Install the direction indicator lamp in the reverse order.
