Step 1
Seams and metal body parts are treated with anticorrosive material, which, when moisture enters, begin to deteriorate from corrosion. Anticorrosive protects the car body from negative environmental influences.
Step 2
Basically, 3 types of anticorrosive are used to protect the car: antigravel, light anticorrosive, dark anticorrosive.
Step 3
The wheel arches are treated with anti-gravel, and then plastic wheel arches are installed. After drying, the anti-gravel forms a protective rubber crust on the surface. You can treat the car with anti-gravel yourself. Balloons with liquid are sold in auto parts. Anti-gravel dries in about a day.
Step 4
The underside of the car is treated with dark anticorrosive material. It is better to do such anticorrosive in technical centers. The processing machine is lifted on a lift, after thoroughly washing it. The anticorrosive material is supplied under pressure from special containers with a pump. When processing the bottom, there is a very high consumption of anticorrosive, dirt flies and there is a specific smell. Therefore, it is better not to save money and keep your health.
Step 5
Hidden cavities are treated with light anticorrosive: doors, sills, engine compartment, luggage compartment. To treat hidden cavities with anticorrosive material, a thin tube is inserted into the drain holes of doors or thresholds and the anticorrosive fluid is pumped under pressure from a special pistol. To process the luggage compartment, the lining is removed, and the anticorrosive is applied to the metal surface.
Step 6
You can wash off the anticorrosive agent with White Spirit or diesel fuel.
